In the airline industry there is huge competition and to have the upper hand businesses use advertisement. Advertisement plays a major role in the success of a business and can be the cause for a great amount of the businesses profit. WestJet advertises its airline in a innovative way.

WestJet takes the advertisement for its airlines to the next level, and persuades its airline as being one of the best to its market. WestJet announced the launch for its new advertising campaign which depicts the experience of employees who go to many lengths to be of assistance to their guest. The campaign is centered on WestJet’s caring culture and guest services, and also on commercials that are based on kudos submitted by guest. The commercials demonstrate how WestJet employees show extraordinary moments of caring for the guest, it focuses on the positive attitude of the Westjetters towards all guest on the airline. Through this campaigns these heart touching commercials will air on national TV along with in cinemas across Canada. Therefor WestJet takes its adverting to the next level; the goal of these advertisements is to persuade WestJet as a comforting airline to travel on. 

WestJet is a very friendly business that focuses on providing the best to its guest and thus launched a campaign to protest the flat rate Air Travelers Security Charge (ATSC).WestJet is concerned about the impact that ATSC will have on Canadian travelers and so launched this campaign. WestJet encouraged Canadians to write to their local member of parliament to create awareness about their concerns. WestJet president and CEO stated that “We fully support enhanced security measures for our industry, and we are not opposed to collecting a fee for such services.  However, we believe that imposing another flat rate fee to Canadian travellers will surely have a negative impact on our industry and will discourage people from choosing air travel as a mode of transportation.”, WestJet is strongly against this fee charge and is doing everything possible to prevent it. In order to make this advertisement more widely known there have been newspaper ads and tear out for mailing have been included. Therefor WestJet takes its advertisement to the next level, and the purpose behind the advertisement is taken very seriously.

WestJet is well known for its spontaneous ads. It is a friendly business that looks to have a benefit to its customers along with the business itself, and the advertisements provided assist in accomplishing this goal of theirs. What’s your opinion on this, does WestJet provide good service?
