very friendly business that focuses on providing the best to its guest and thus
launched a campaign to protest the flat rate Air Travelers Security Charge
(ATSC).WestJet is concerned about the impact that ATSC will have on Canadian
travelers and so launched this campaign. WestJet encouraged Canadians to write
to their local member of parliament to create awareness about their concerns. WestJet
president and CEO stated that “We fully support enhanced security measures for
our industry, and we are not opposed to collecting a fee for such
services. However, we believe that
imposing another flat rate fee to Canadian travellers will surely have a
negative impact on our industry and will discourage people from choosing air
travel as a mode of transportation.”, WestJet is strongly against this fee
charge and is doing everything possible to prevent it. In order to make this
advertisement more widely known there have been newspaper ads and tear out for
mailing have been included. Therefor WestJet takes its advertisement to the
