WestJet doesn’t just service travellers they are really committed in various community investments and sponsorships.

WestJet are highly involved in a lot of communities to assist many people around Canada. To name a few they are involved in; Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada would mentor youth also mentoring in-schools, Kids help Phone Canada, Make a wish Canada, Ronald McDonald house Charities Canada, Caring for our community. They are trying to raise awareness in each of their program that they are involved with to contribute WestJetters would donate gifts of flight voucher. One Community investment that I think is absolutely interesting and have been involved with since 1996 is the Hope air they basically make sure that no Canadian get left behind in Canada’s health care system. They would also, accommodate free air transportation for Canadians in financial needs that have to go outside their community. I think their involvement is great that they would do anything to help Canadians.

WestJet also sponsor’s fun ‘n festival series promotion and contests where they would visit various provinces and cities to get involved by having different type of activities all year round. This year WestJet partner up with Harbourfront Centre again this summer to continue with the taste of Danforth. The also were involved since the tragic earthquake in Haiti on January 12, 2010 WestJet has worked to support. They immediately donate a flight to world Vision Canada and $ 200,000 of medical supplies. They also donate $ 100,00 to Canadian Red Cross to assist immediate needs. WestJet portrays a big warmth heart to assist many people in need. WestJet are always accepting Donations for anyone willing to help as well as looking for sponsorships.

Thus, WestJet is highly involved in sponsorships and community investment to lend a hand. But they are always there for us Canadian. It’s a big heart that keeps on giving.
