Safety features/baggage
Every individual are always frighten when they are flying. I Believe that everyone should be trained and know all the safety measures when travelling. Although, all flight attendants are trained for about 1 month before working on an aircraft.
WestJet are always concerned for their guests safety. They have procedure and guidelines every time for every flight. They would have their regular procedure to tell everyone about the aircraft with the pamphlet, how to use the oxygen masks, exist and life jacket. Those features are always including when travelling and to continue with everyone’s safety they also have travel advisory before boarding the flight for example a winter watch storm. It will cause delay’s of flight but I do think to have that feature can ensure everyone safety from any injury. Over the years WestJet does show a high safety rate in fact aviation accidents are extremely rare. Statistically if a passenger board a flight randomly once a day it would statistically be over 21,000 years before and individual can be killed. Which in fact I do think that flying is safe for many people who are scared to travel by plane.
There are always issues with baggage when you’re travelling however; WestJet has guidelines to how many bags are allowed on the place as well as the size. To bring luggage on a flight are only allowed 2 bags when flying. The check in luggage must not way more that 50lbs if it ways more there are fees applied to the traveller. The unique idea that WestJet has are sports equipment to board can only be 3 meters long and will charge if applicable excess baggage fee unless stated otherwise. Many other airlines do not have this feature can WestJet can benefit from that for athletes.
Thus, researching and learning more about planes guidelines and features should make travellers feel more safe and would want to travel with WestJet rather that a competitor airline.
Ø  Do you feel safe when travelling with WestJet?
Ø  Knowing the interesting statistics of flying would you fly now?
Ø  Is that enough of a safety features?
Ø  Do you think it’s fair for how many baggages are allowed including weight?
Ø  Do you think you should have to pay if your luggage weight more than 50lbs?
